Bad Studio was founded in 2014 by old art school friends Andrew Brand & Tim Unsworth.

Andrew is an award-winning Filmmaker, Animator & Creative Director, with over 2 decades of experience in the media industry.
With a background in Fine Art, Andrew has worked as a Writer / Director for animated and live action films. His films have won multiple awards on the international film festival circuit, with much of his work commissioned by leading funding bodies including the UK Film Council, Film4, Channel 4 and the European Space Agency, Alongside his filmmaking, Andrew has worked on large-scale campaigns with some of the world's largest brands including Nokia, Vodafone, WWF, BBC, and Just Giving.

Tim is an award-winning Architect, Producer and 3D Modeller, with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He has produced countless large-scale campaigns with some of the world's largest brands including Just Giving and NHS. Drawing from his extensive design knowledge in Architecture, Tim has 3D modelled for multiple big brands including Dentsply Sirona and, most recently, the European Space Agency (ESA). For ESA, Tim was responsiible for designing and modelling a space farm on Mars for 'Buzz', an award-winning animated short film directed by Andrew, which is currently touring the international film festival circuit.
