MAIL METRO MEDIA LAUNCH EVENT
Motion Tests
CHOSEN CREATIVE DIRECTION
Based on your preferred creative direction (styleframe option 1), we have created a series of motion tests for you to review.
These are early stage tests and will be developed further so everything animates and transitions seemlessly throughout the event.
GOALS
At this stage we’re focusing on confirming the motion direction before moving into fine detail and full build. This presentation is designed to:
- Share our first round of motion explorations based on the agreed style frames
- Check that the overall motion direction feels aligned with your vision
- Gather feedback before moving into detailed refinement and build
ABSTRACT BACKGROUNDS
We currently have designed 2 states of motion; ‘Dynamic’ and ‘Calm’.
For the main screen we would look to use a combination of both motion states (‘Dynamic’ and ‘Calm’). Dynamic to create drama and excitment, when required, and ‘Calm’ for more ambient moments during the event. like when the audience is arriving, networking etc.
Dynamic Abstract Environment Movement (WIP)
ARCADE
Calmer Abstract Environment Movement (WIP)
From experience, the Arcade space at Outernet requires calmer motion than other screens.
Here’s a short example of motion on just one screen (east wall). Over the coming days we will be developing the motion design further for the Arcade, so it becomes an experience that’s fully immersive.
LOGO REVEAL
Work-in-Progress
As discussed, we have integrated the MMM logo into our abstract colour gradient environment, making their relationship harmonious rather than the MMM logo feeling stuck on top, like previous years.
Below is a logo reveal that could be used on the Main Screen as part of a longer opening event animation.
PLEASE BE AWARE: These are work-in-progress animation. This will be development more based on initial feedback.
TEXT ANIMATION
Initial Text R&D
Here are some intial experiments of animated text for the MMM event. This is early stage R&D and will be developed further based on intial feedback.
Currently we are experimenting with ways to make the text, as much as possible, part of the environment, whilst retaining the ability to make last minute changes to text, if required.
NEXT STEPS
- Refine the motion approach together based on your feedback
- Implement any amends, updates, or further exploration
- Build out storyboards for the countdown and title sequence (using the agreed motion concept)
- Plan how graphics, logos, and event information (to be supplied) will be integrated
- Explore and design the arcade experience to create a fully immersive solution
We’ll keep you closely involved as the motion develops, ensuring it stays aligned with your vision.
